The Codat Support team may advise that your end-users restart manually the Sage 50 connector installed on their machine to ensure that the connector is up-to-date and able to handle syncs.
Problem
In rare cases, you may notice that the syncs that you have queued for your Sage 50 connection are not pulling data and are remaining indefinitely in Queued status.
When this happens when the connector is still installed, it indicates that the Sage 50 connector had an issue when restarting and is not able to run as usual.
This cannot be resolved remotely and the end-user who installed the connector must manually restart the connector on their machine.
Resolution
To manually open the Sage 50 connector, the end-user must first log into the machine where they have installed the connector.
They must then:
- Open a File Explorer window and paste %LocalAppData%\Codat in the address bar
- Open the folder returned
- Open the Sage 50 folder and double-click on Sage50Connector.exe
- Click on Perform Sync once the connector has opened
