Rocket Finance is a fictitious business offering lending services to SMEs. This user journey represents their client onboarding process including linking accounting platforms.
1 | Create Account
Capture the business email address for follow up communication should the business drop out.
2 | Select Accounting Platform
Users selects from a list of supported Accounting platforms.
The GET /integrations endpoint provides the logos ready for you to display.
3 | Data Sharing Guidelines
It’s good practice to ensure your users are clear what information is being captured and why.
At this stage you could include a quick guide on how to connect or links to your support.
4 | Login to accounting platform
After clicking Agree in the previous step the user will be redirected to their chosen Accounting Platform to login.
At this stage the UX will be different depending on the Users accounting platform .
For On-Premise connectors the users will be prompted to download the connector and enter their license key.
5 | Authorisation
The user will be asked to authorise access. This stage will differ by accounting platform.
6 | Confirm company info
While the remaining datasets are syncing the user is asked to confirm their Company Info extracted from their Accounting Package.
7 | Present additional data
The User can view the full “documents” extracted (visibility of the data e.g. Balance Sheet, Invoices).
