Codat requires authorisation from the Company sharing their data to establish a connection to their accounting platform before data can be retrieved or inserted.
Codat clients have two options for the user experience their customers will follow to authorise the sharing of their financial data:
- Codat Link Site Customisable Codat Link Site which requires no technical development; or
- Codat API Implement their own front-end user journey powered by the Codat API
The Codat API and custom front-end implementation is recommended as it ensures your linking process presents a consistent brand and experience for the end user.
