If the user has multiple company files within Sage 50, each available file will be shown when installing the Sage 50 connector. If the user is not sure which one to choose, they can confirm the directory of their desired Sage file using either of the methods below.
Using Sage's Select Company screen
If the user has multiple company files within Sage 50, they should see a screen similar to the below when they open Sage 50. The data directory for each company is shown in the right-most column.
Using Sage 50's About screen
Once the user is logged in to the company file they wish to link, they can use the About screen to find the data directory:
- Click Help -> About within Sage 50
- When the window fully loads, the data directory for the open company file is shown in the location indicated below.
One of the directories ends in "ACCDATA" and the other doesn't; which one is correct?
The Sage 50 Connector will accept either path. The user does not need to add or remove "ACCDATA" from the directory.
